The porous nature of the nation’s airports has again been laid bare as some of the Direct Data Capture machines for the registration of voters for the 2011 elections were allegedly stolen at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.

The machines were awaiting clearance by Independent National Electoral Commission agent when the theft took place.

He's a great lad and he has settled in well. He played well in the game and I will look to get him involved," Redknapp told Sky Sports News. "Certainly on Tuesday against Arsenal there is every chance he will play and make his debut. "We have been pleased with what we have seen so far." Redknapp insists he would have no worries about throwing Sandro straight into Premier League action after the Carling Cup match. "We will look at him and assess how he is going but there is no reason why he shouldn't do," said Redknapp. "He's a good player. He's in the Brazilian national squad, he was away training with them in Barcelona last week so you can't be a bad player if you are getting into the Brazilian squad."
